Duration: 12 hours
Crossing the Netherlands, enjoying its typical countryside, we will drive you to Belgium.
Our destination today: one of the most beautiful towns in Europe: ''Bruges''. Upon arrival you will be guided through the historical center. Most of its medieval architecture is still intact. Many of the medieval buildings are notable, such as The Church of Our Lady with its 122.3 m high brick spire. Bruges' most famous landmark is the 13th century belfry, dominated by a carillon with 48 bells. It once served as an observation post for spotting danger. Other famous buildings in Bruges are the Beguinages, a collection of small buildings used by various Roman Catholic lay sisterhoods called Beguines. After the sightseeing tour, you can spend the rest of the afternoon to your liking: enjoy a boat trip along the beautiful canals, visit one of the museums, shop for lace or taste the excellent Belgian cuisine and chocolates. Let yourself be carried away by beauty and romance!
