To show the very best of Amsterdam our guides felt it was time to devise their own personalised tours, focusing on the individuals visiting our city, and not large groups. WOW tours are designed to be small and intimate tours to give our guests a unique and personalized walking tour of Amsterdam. Like listening to a story, we bring the vibrant history of Amsterdam alive. Our guides dont follow scripts or simply recite facts.

During this 3 hour stroll around the historical centre our experienced guides will expose you to over 800 years of Amsterdam history and culture. From its humble beginnings on the river Amstel to the glorious Golden Age Amsterdam has an exclusive place in world history. It is a history we bring vividly to life. Amsterdammers have always been fiercely independent, and our tours will tell you about some of this citys most colourful events.

In winter season October-March reservations in advance are absolutely necessary!

Meet your guide on the Dam Square, right in front of the National Monument. Do not look for a big group of people, our tours are small and we like it like that.

You will be guided through the oldest part of the city stopping at numerous sights to explain the culture and feeling of this grand city both past and present. You walk down the oldest streets near the harbour of Amsterdam and get the chance to take a break if you wish around the Flower Market in the southern part of old city center.

We walk you lastly across the canal belt and leave you near the Anna Frank House or send you off to a boat cruise (see walking tour and canal cruise in Amsterdam City Tours, Walking Tours, section).
