Get to feel the typical Belgian atmosphere. During this tour you will see historic places such as the market in Antwerp and the tomb of the unknown soldier. We start in Antwerp, our guide has chosen the best route through the city for you. Later in the day we continue our journey towards the European capital: Brussels. Here we visit, amongst other famous sights, the world famous statue of 'Manneken Pis'. We also pass by the headquarters of the European Commission.

Before our journey to Amsterdam begins, there is some free time left to shop and browse.

The first destination of this tour is Belgium's second largest city, Antwerp. The capital of Flanders comprises  one of Europe's biggest ports. The city is famous for its diamond trade as well. Visit the central Market Square and the adjacent Cathedral of Our Lady. Inside you'll admire several of Peter Paul Rubens' 17th century paintings.

You continue to Brussels, the capital of the European Union. At the lace factory, you'll learn about the history and techniques of this traditional Belgian craft. During an encompassing city tour you'll see the city's major highlights. You'll drive by the Atomium, an impressive colossus, which was inaugurated in occasion of the 1958 World Fair. You'll see the neoclassical Royal Palace and the postmodern compounds of the EC Headquarters. Furthermore you'll see the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the "Manneken Pis" Statue, which symbolizes the French and Dutch cohabitation in Brussels. You will have time for shopping before your return to Amsterdam. Don't miss out on the worldwide-known Belgian chocolate!
