This Amsterdam walking tour gives you a real taste of the city’s heritage and lifestyle all in the company of an expert local guide. Begin your tour by heading into the oldest part of our city. Learn about Amsterdam’s humble beginnings and why this area is so popular today. Half way through the tour you will leave the touristy center and head off to a more picturesque side of the city. Here you will experience a more day-to-day life style amongst the 16th and 17th century canal homes. Ask your guide about places to eat or drink in these areas. At the end of your tour you can go to the Anna Frank House or wander through our city’s Jordaan neighborhood, once a blue-collar area, now a funky spot filled with bars, restaurants and galleries. There is a good chance you build up a thirst walking the streets, but don’t worry; Urban Adventures has a beer tasting tour at 4.15pm.
