The evening or afternoon begins in our lit lounge, where everything is explained while you enjoy a drink. Then you can store your belongings in our lockers to leave your hands free for this experience. You are then escorted into the dark dining room, where you can see absolutely nothing.
In the dark you will be assisted by our friendly staff, who function perfectly without light. All our waiters are visually impaired and because so, they know what it is to see nothing in the dark.. The team consists of trained professionals who, thanks to their limitations, guarantee you a time to remember.
Wine Tasting: (EUR 27,50 pp.)
Wine tasting in the dark is a revelation! Led by a wine expert you can taste different wines. Without vision, you can even make mistakes between white and red wine. A wine tasting will take about one hour. With a large group it may take longer.
Cheese Tasting: (EUR 19,50 pp)
Can you taste and recognize the qualities of the cheese? Under the guidance of an expert cheese taster you will find several unique artisan cheeses to test and evaluate. What kind of cheese is it? How old is it? How can you test whether it is a good cheese? In between there is a nice little quiz with cheese facts. Each cheese tasting lasts approximately one hour.
Beer Tasting: (EUR 27,50 pp)
Meet a range of different beer types, a true delight for any beer lover!. A beer tasting lasts approximately one hour in the dark. With a large group it may take longer. After tasting various tradional beers in the Dark, there is also a good "Pils" or "light beer" test in the light-can you taste the difference between various pilseners?
Combination of wine and cheese tasting: (EUR 45.00 per person)
With this combination you'll be welcomed with a glass of prosecco, the wines and cheeses are well chosen so that they complete one another. At the end, some cheeses from the tasting will be put on a special display-guillotine on the bar for you to enjoy.
