-We will start our guided tour in Aalsmeer, where we will visit the largest flower auction in the world. On Sundays when the flower auction is closed we will make a visit to a wooden shoe and clog factory instead.
-Our next stop is Rotterdam well-known for its contemporary architecture, because its city centre was bombed on the 14th of May 1940 by the German Luftwaffe. Rotterdam is one of the world’s largest harbours and refineries and gateway to Europe.
-We will continue our day trip in Delft, where a stop will be made at the Delft Blue pottery factory the “Delftse Pauw”. Picturesque Delft is the hometown of Vermeer, one of the most famous Dutch masters. The New Church of Delft is the burial place of the House of Orange and an important town in Dutch history.
-After Delft we will drive to The Hague, which houses the Dutch Parliament. Sights of The Hague include the Peace Palace and the The Royal Picture Gallery "Mauritshuis". We will then go to Madurodam, where you can explore Holland in Miniature (great for kids ).
-At the end we will pas the fishing town of Scheveningen, situated on the North Sea.
