A visit to Belgium. This tour will take you to Antwerp first, where we will stop at the Market Square and the cathedral. Antwerp is the second largest city of Belgium, the capital of Flanders, an important diamond centre and one of the largest harbours of Europe. Then on to Brussels, the capital of the European Union and famous for its chocolate, Atomium and lace.We will make an extensive city tour of Brussels,  including the Royal Palace, EC Headquarters, the tomb of the unknown soldier and of course the famous statue " Manneken Pis". We will also visit a lace factory in Brussels. Before departure there will be some time for shopping or a stroll.

Antwerp is the birthplace of the famous painter Rubens of whom many paintings are to be found in the magnificent gothic cathedral that is definitely worth a visit.

After Antwerp we will drive to Brussels the capital of Europe, we will visit the Royal Palace the European Commission building, the tomb of the unknown soldier and the famous statue of  “Manneken Pis”. A stop will be made at a lace factory where you can see the ancient art of lace making. You will have free time to explore the city’s “Grand Marché”  or Market Square on your own before we return to Amsterdam.
