Waterland is located northeast of Amsterdam, on the other side of the harbor. Within just fifteen minutes, this tour will take you out of the hectic city and into this beautiful and green nature reserve called Waterland. We will head along the windswept IJsselmeer dike to the most idyllic villages with their typical wooden houses. We will bicycle along country lanes, past vast reed filled wetlands and beautiful lakes while enjoying this man-made (‘polder’-) landscape. On the way back, we will take the ferry across the IJ River to the Central Station.
